Biweekly Pay
Definition:
Biweekly pay is in place when employees are paid every other week on a certain day of the week. For example, the employees could be paid every other Monday.
This results in 26 paychecks a year rather than 52 with a weekly payroll system. Over 1/3 of U.S. Organizations provide biweekly pay, especially in the industries of information, education and health services, and hospitality and leisure.
