Configurability

[]
Definition:

The ability for non-technical people to customise, configure, or change SaaS applications to suit the needs of a business. This might be creating custom fields or data entry points, or change the way users, such as employees, view and use the application.

Configurability is important for every organisation, mainly to seek business intelligence; it helps the organisation to find effective and precise solutions without any difficulties by using the systems. Another reason why configurability is useful, is so that when IT budgets are coming under pressure, the system consolidation can become more effective; which makes it easier to keep in comparison to platforms that may be in different parts of the organisation
