Definition:

The first title of the Americans with Disabilities Act 1990 also known as ADA,  is one the federal laws that prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability. The ADA covers the following:

  • Employment 
  • Transportation
  • Communications

Employers must ensure to make the reasonable adjustments for employees with disabilities, and also offer the same opportunities to individuals regardless of their special needs.
