Application Form

[ˌæpləˈkeɪʃ(ə)n | fɔrm]
Definition:

This is a standard form provided to candidates wishing to work for an organisation. They are usually collected in conjunction with a resume or cover letter. The following are requested in an application form: the name of the applicant, address, work history, experience and reasons why they wish to apply for the position.

application forms used to be paper based, however thanks to technology, application forms are now online. Organisations have developed their systems to now create an application to be filled online on their website.

Organisations must endeavour to develop their systems in order to have an online based application form which makes it easier for potential employees to fill in and for employers to review applications easier and faster.
