Blind Engagement

[blaɪnd | ɪnˈɡeɪdʒmənt]
Definition:

Blind engagement is the automation of social media engagement by an organization, rather than manual management. With large volumes of social media traffic for some organizations, it has become popular to use software to like, follow-back, or even thank individuals who interact with the business.

This can have unintended consequences such as following malicious or bot accounts, and can be a poor look for public relations.
