California Lunch Law

Definition:

This is a law put in place for employees; the California Lunch Law requires employers to ensure that employees who work more than 5 hours in a day receive a 30 minute meal or lunch break; under the law employees are entitled to ten minutes of a rest period for each four hours. 

Organizations based within this region or any other region must ensure to follow through the laws regarding employee’s lunch breaks and rest time; this also plays part in making the workplace a nice place for employees to work in.
