Definition:

The process of managing employees through a change programme in the workplace. This includes monitoring impacts on output, morale, and other stakeholders. This can be done continuously or on a periodic basis such as weekly, monthly, or annually.

Change management has four main principles which are the following: to understand, plan, implement and communicate change; employers must take these 4 principles in order for change management to be a successful move in their organizations.

Change management actually helps employees to perform better in their roles within the workplaces, which can lead to the organization achieving its goals and making progress.
