Code Of Ethics

[koʊd | əv | ˈɛθɪks]

While the code of conduct outlines expected behaviours, the code of ethics underpins these expectations by outlining the fundamental “right and wrong” practice of the business, management and staff. These are high-level principles and can be expected to guide decision-making by the company.

This is a set of principles compiled by employers to guide employees; this includes the organisation’s mission and values. The code of ethics is also referred to as ethical code, is based on the organisation’s core values and the position that a future employee will hold. Employees that violate this code of ethics, could face a dismissal.
