A contract refers to an agreement, that has been generally written in which two or multiple parties, enter into an agreement to respect and comply by with a set of conditions that have been specified within the same document.

Within the workplace, a contract is provided as between the employer and the employee; this type of agreement is also provided between an independent contractor and an organization.
