Definition:

The mix of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, beliefs, values, behaviours and other characteristics throughout the workforce. It is important and essential to have diversity as an employer because it brings a mixture of cultures, experience and expertise within the organization. 

With a diverse organisation, employers are able to attract more clients and customers; diversity within the workplace will also attract future employees that are specialists within various areas, which will help the organization to achieve its target. Employers must include a diversity policy in their organizations to ensure that no employer feels discriminated for being different.
