Definition:

The management of employees or representatives within only one national boundary; this involves a process of effectively, procuring, allocating human resources in a local country. 

Domestic Human Resources Management, is the practise of Human Resources nationally; many small organisations have Domestic HRM; this may be for various reasons. However in an instance where  organizations are based globally, both domestic and international HRM is practised depending on where the headquarters is located. It is important for organisations to utilise various ways of managing human resources management; which will most likely involve domestic HRM.
