Definition:

A green employee is a professional who is dedicated and seeking to influence with their experience, knowledge and their passion to promote eco awareness and business sustainability.

This type of professional seeks out for opportunities that are in alignment with their personal beliefs and career ambitions which is to work in a green workforce.  Although green jobs are very much anonymous, there are still some organizations that seek to build an eco-friendly workforce protect nature and therefore such organizations look to employ candidates that have the same mindset. Organization must seek to build an eco – friendly workforce in order to accommodate green employees in their workplaces, which will lead to a diverse workforce.
