Definition:

Host Country Nationals are employees or in other words, professionals who are born in host countries. An example of this could be professionals that work in countries like India or China with their host country being the USA. 

Host Country Nationals are usually posted on an assignment  from their headquarters to other branches of the organization to work as expatriates. These professionals are a great asset to organizations and this is because most are specialists in their selected areas.
