Hot Desking

Definition:

Hot Desking is a workspace system in which desks are used by different people at different times, on an ad hoc basis. Mainly, the aim is to use the space efficiently and to avoid redundant office space. 

Hot desking can be implemented in organizations that have both a private office and a coworking space; the main advantage of hotdesking is the flexibility that comes with it which increases employee innovation, whereas the social aspect is cited as a way to encourage cross - disciplinary collaboration.
