Intermittent FMLA
Definition:
Intermittent FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), It is when a more flexible way of taking leave is approached; with this leave, the employee can either book their time off for a few days or hours. An example scenario of this type of leave could be if the employee is suffering from a bad headache then they would be allowed to take time off during while they are in pain.
The Intermittent FMLA, gives an employee the chance to book leave without having to take long breaks. This is a good opportunity that can be offered to employees as it will rather allow them to book a short period of time off, without having to take a break during the day.
