Definition:

A famous personality test which places individuals in one of 16 personality type categories. Each is a combination of scores on sensation, intuition, thinking and feeling. The model is influenced by the theories of Carl Jung. 

The Myers- Briggs Type Indicator is a useful test to carry out on employees as it will help employers gain an understanding of the various personalities within the organization; this will also help in helping employers decide on the type of training their staff need based on the personality test results.
