Performance Appraisal

[pərˈfɔrməns | əˈpreɪzəl]

A performance appraisal refers to a review of an employee’s overall contribution and performance within the organization; organizations use the performance review to offer the employee the overall image of their work, to justify any pay increase or promotion, or termination decisions.

A performance appraisal is conducted quarterly, annually or semi-annual; this review also offers employees to be aware of areas that need improvement and also areas in which they are doing well.
