Definition:

Post-holiday blues refer to depression that an employee feels about returning work; this can be  characterised as change in mood, lack of motivation or fatigue.

Post-holiday blues can also occur due to a change in circumstance, the employee might be trying to perhaps adjust to being a new parent, or maybe enrolling on a course as well as working. Some employers offer support to employee that go through post-holiday blues, by offering a one to one meeting with their line managers.
