Social currency is a metric which defines the ‘value’ of the organization, in terms of power or influence, in an online context such as social media; it refers to the value that the organization adds to its customers and clients.

This value is defined by reach, impact, activity, and engagement with the public. Organization must ensure to work on their social currency, in order to improve a customer’s experience.
