Termination Letter
Definition:
A termination letter is a letter sourced from the employer and provided to the employee with information about their upcoming termination. Also called a "pink slip," the termination letter may be an important record to keep on hand. It should include the employee's name, what they do, and who their manager and HR administrator are. It's also helpful to have the current date, the last day of work for the employee, and a summary of the facts involved in the upcoming termination.
