Wellness Programs

[ˈwelnəs ˈprəʊɡræmz]

Wellness programs are benefits provided to employees by providers and are usually part of a defined “benefits package”. These programs are designed to provide preventative care and help reduce the chance of employees developing chronic diseases and health conditions.

Wellness programs are vast and varied, but often include wellness assessments, smoking cessation help, stress management, exercise programs, and weight loss competitions to name just a few components.
